IT Rationalization IT costs were rationalized and as a result, reduced by approximately $1 million, or 25%, per year for a large Real Estate Company. ICI was retained to review and brief their IT contracts, and look for cost savings opportunities. We noted that commodity products and services were not competitively purchased or bid because the Client did not think they purchased in large enough quantities to gain real savings. Initiated a strategy to aggregate their spend across multiple and various items, creating packages large enough to attract bids from the major players in the IT world. |
